Yes, your birthday in Heaven,

No I can't send a card this year,

It comes by once a year.
It’s the day you went to Heaven
And the day you left me here.
I know I should be happy,
You’re in your Heavenly home.
But instead I feel so empty
And oh so all alone.

The day you grew your wings.
You left so very quickly
You didn’t take your things.

We'll love him while we may,
And for the happiness we've known,
Forever grateful stay.
But should the angels call for him,
Much sooner than we planned,
We'll brave the bitter grief that comes,
And try to understand."
